Pinterest Inspired: Valentine's Mailboxes

I first saw this idea at The Anderson Crew.  Hers are so cute!

I'm attracted to the $1 bins at Target like a moth to a flame.  They call my name the minute I walk through the door.  I've seen these precious little mailboxes around Valentine's Days in the past, but never bought any.

I thought they would be a great way to leave our kids their surprise on Valentine's Day, as well as a super cute decoration for our table the entire month of February.

I purchased 3 mailboxes, headed to the Dollar Tree for 3 glass candlesticks and then headed to Brandon's shed for leftover spray paint.

I gave the candlesticks several coats of paint and then used Super Glue Fix-All Adhesive to glue the mailboxes to the candlesticks, so they have their own post.  FYI: Hot glue does NOT work...I know from experience.

All in all, these cost me $2 each and I love the way they turned out.  I can't wait to start looking for surprises to go in them!
